Missouri S&T theater students earn performance awards

Missouri University of Science and Technology’s theatrical production of “Good Kids,” which examines attitudes and misconceptions about sexual assault, has earned three awards of excellence from the Kennedy Center. The awards will be presented at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival-Region 6, which will be held Feb. 23-27 at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas.

S&T Hispanic Film Series to continue with Nazi-hunting comedy

The Hispanic Film Series offered by the Missouri University of Science and Technology arts, languages, and philosophy department will continue this February with a viewing of Mr. Kaplan.

The film begins at 7p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, in Room 104 Physics Building. The film will be screened in Spanish with English subtitles. The event is free of charge. This and all future films in the 2016 Hispanic Film Series will be screened in Room 104 Physics Building.

’50 Years of Bogantics’ opens at Leach Theatre

Bogan Jr., Curators’ Teaching Professor emeritus of art history and film at Missouri S&T, and includes selections from Bogan’s books, poster-art, photography and artifacts from the classroom.
