Missouri S&T’s Free Fall Film Festival begins Aug. 30
The local community is invited to view new and classic films at no cost during Missouri University of Science and Technology’s 2016 Free Fall Film Festival. The first film in the series will be “Spotlight,” a biographical drama that follows The Boston Globe’s “Spotlight” team, the oldest continuing investigative journalism team in the country.

Leach Theatre turns 25
For 25 years, Leach Theatre has hosted Broadway shows, orchestra concerts, comedy acts, universitywide addresses, and film festivals — even events like freshman chemistry safety classes. The theater has touched many lives throughout its history but its No. 1 priority has always been to serve the students of Missouri S&T.

Perform in the Rolla Town Band this summer
Area musicians are invited to join the Rolla Town Band this summer. Rehearsals begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 16. The band is open to musicians age 14 and older. Players of all abilities are welcome, including those who have not played in recent years.

S&T Hispanic Film Series to conclude April 29
The Hispanic Film Series offered by the Missouri University of Science and Technology arts, languages, and philosophy department will conclude with a screening of the comedic yet bittersweet Mexican film “Paradise.” The film begins at 7 p.m. Friday, April 29, in Room 104 Physics Building on the S&T campus. The event is free of charge.
