S&T earthquake experts study ground deformations in northern Hispaniola

A Missouri research team is using a grant from NASA to examine imagery from satellites owned by Japanese and European space agencies to measure the potential of future earthquakes in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. 2023 Laufer Energy Symposium to highlight life-changing new energy technologies

Cassandra Elrod named chair of Missouri S&T’s business and information technology department

Missouri S&T has appointed Dr. Cassandra C. Elrod chair of its business and information technology (BIT) department, effective immediately. Elrod, who joined the S&T faculty in 2008, is associate professor of business and information technology. She was appointed acting chair of the department in January 2022; she has served as interim chair since May 2022.
