Garmin to open facility in S&T Technology Development Center

Garmin International Inc. is expanding its engineering internship program through the opening of a new software engineering facility at Missouri University of Science and Technology. The facility is designed to support semester-long part-time internships throughout the school year and full-time internships during the summer.

KMST, St. James Winery Portugal trip booking deadline nears

Missouri S&T students to conduct research in India

The trek is part of an independent research course led by Dr. Daniel Oerther, the John A. and Susan Mathes Chair of Environmental Engineering at Missouri S&T.

Original composition ‘Serenity’ to debut at S&T band concert

Serenity, a composition written in honor of the late daughter of Dr. Robert J. Cesario, band conductor at Missouri University of Science and Technology, will debut at a Nov. 30 concert on the campus. Anna Cesario died from ovarian cancer in 2009, after more than five years battling the disease.

34 S&T faculty members honored for outstanding teaching

Thirty-four Missouri University of Science and Technology faculty members will receive the Outstanding Teaching Award for 2011-2012. The winners will be recognized at a ceremony scheduled from 3-4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, in St. Pat’s Ballroom B of the Havener Center. The Outstanding Teaching Award is given each year to faculty members by the Outstanding Teaching Award Committee, which bases its selections on student evaluations.
