Missouri S&T returns to in-person summer camps for students in grades 2-12
After two years of virtual and hybrid youth camps, Missouri S&T’s in-person summer camps are back. From June 5-July 28, students in grades 2-12 will be able to immerse themselves in STEM-related subjects ranging from physics, computing and robotics to aerospace and explosives.

Dr. Richard Billo, who previously served as associate vice president for research and professor of computer science and engineering at the University of Notre Dame, has been appointed founding director of the Kummer Institute Center for Advanced Manufacturing and professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Missouri S&T attains record enrollment for underrepresented minorities
The official fall 2021 enrollment at Missouri University of Science and Technology, recorded at the end of the semester’s fourth week, includes a record percentage of underrepresented minorities. Underrepresented minority students make up 12.3% of the first-year-student enrollment, which is an all-time high.
