Missouri S&T computer science chair named IEEE Fellow

Dr. Sajal K. Das, professor and chair of computer science and the Daniel C. St. Clair Endowed Chair in computer science at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has been named an IEEE Fellow in recognition of his contributions to parallel and distributed computing. The honor is the highest grade of membership in the organization.

S&T receives $3 million from NSF to train cybersecurity experts

Researchers at Missouri University of Science and Technology are working to combat threats to cybersecurity by training the next generation of experts in the field. With a $3 million grant from the National Science Foundation, Missouri S&T’s computer science department will fund approximately 16 “Scholarship for Service” master of science and Ph.D. students, who will specialize in cybersecurity.
