Dr. Rathindra DasGupta, lead program director for the Innovation Corps program at the National Science Foundation (NSF), will discuss the NSF’s innovation programs at Missouri University of Science and Technology this month.
DasGupta’s presentation, which is part of the Distinguished Seminar for Computer Science, will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, in Room 140 Toomey Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
His presentation will focus on the NSF’s Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer, Industry University Cooperative Research Center, Accelerating Innovation Research-Technology Translation, and Innovation Corps programs.
DasGupta joined the NSF in 2006 and has since led four NSF divisions as program director. He has also published numerous papers, presented at international conferences and holds five patents.
