Mars Rover to be unveiled at Missouri S&T
The Mars Rover Design Team at Missouri University of Science and Technology will unveil Gryphon, this year’s student-built rover, at a ceremony scheduled for noon Friday, March 3, in the Havener Center atrium.

Renetra Osun, 23, a senior in multidisciplinary studies at Missouri University of Science and Technology, was killed in a traffic accident on Saturday, Feb. 11. She was from St. Louis.
The accident occurred at 5:40 a.m. on U.S Interstate 44 east of Rolla in Phelps County near mile marker 196.2.
Missouri S&T bands to make sweet music with the 399th Army Band
The 399th Army Band from Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, will join the Missouri University of Science and Technology Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony for a free concert in February. The concert will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located at 10th and Main streets in Rolla.

Missouri University of Science and Technology students seeking full-time employment after graduation or co-op or internship for the semester will have an opportunity to meet with employers at the 2017 Spring Career Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Nearly 200 companies are registered to attend the event.
