International students will again be paired with local individuals and families this fall through Missouri University of Science and Technology’s International Friends Program. The program helps the students adjust to life in the United States and its participants often forge lifelong friendships.

The Leach Theatre Family Series this season includes a new musical, a visual artist, acrobats from Kenya and the story of Winnie the Pooh told in spoken word and sign language. Ninety-nine Chancellor’s Fellows will be honored at a welcome reception from 2-3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, on the Toomey Hall balcony. The fellows are selected by the graduate studies office based on rigorous academic credentials, including a 3.5 or higher grade point average and department recommendation.
