A number of activities are planned for Homecoming Weekend at Missouri University of Science and Technology, and students’ parents and family members are invited to them all. Homecoming Weekend will be held from Friday, Oct. 1, through Sunday, Oct. 3.

Activities include a dinner on Friday and a tailgate party and football game on Saturday. Families are encouraged to register for these events online at the Miner Alumni Association’s website.

A special reception for parents and family members will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, in the Havener Center. This event will include a discussion of issues and concerns families may have and an opportunity to learn more about the many services available to students.

Parents can keep up with student activities by joining the Missouri S&T Family Connection. Family Connection members receive regular notes and updates about happenings on campus and tips on how to support student success.

Missouri S&T’s website is a good source of information about the university and its events. S&T also has a presence on Facebook and Twitter.

Missouri S&T is continually exploring new ways to involve families in campus activities, and they are welcome to visit the campus at any time.
