Ninety-nine Chancellor’s Fellows will be honored at a welcome reception from 2-3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, on the Toomey Hall balcony. The fellows are selected by the graduate studies office based on rigorous academic credentials, including a 3.5 or higher grade point average and department recommendation.
“The Chancellor’s Fellows represent the top end talent of Missouri S&T’s graduate research force,” says Dr. Venkat Allada, vice provost for graduate studies. “I am confident they will make S&T proud through their research contributions.”
Elaine Light, program/project support specialist for graduate studies, will help administer the awards and facilitate networking opportunities for the students. “I look forward to working with this great group of students and helping them jumpstart the research buddy program to encourage undergraduate students to pursue graduate study.”
