S&T Academy of Mines and Metallurgy inducts new members

Six graduates of Missouri University of Science and Technology were inducted into the Missouri S&T Academy of Mines and Metallurgy on April 21. The academy is an advisory group that was founded in 1954. The group includes graduates and others who have made outstanding contributions to their professions.

KMST releases results of spring membership drive

Public Radio KMST received $63,500 in membership investments during the station’s spring membership drive, which concluded on April 17. While KMST did not reach its $72,000 goal, staff of the station consider it a success. Pledges are still accepted by calling 573-341-4386 in Rolla, toll-free at 888-776-5678 or online at kmst.org.

S&T Jazz Ensemble to perform spring concert

Celebrate the coming of spring at a performance by the Missouri University of Science and Technology Jazz Ensemble. The concert will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, April 15, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, located at the corner of 10th and Main streets in Rolla. David Cress, assistant teaching professor in arts, languages, and philosophy, will conduct the Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo.
