Due to continuing severe weather conditions, Missouri S&T will extend remote operations through 11:59 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4. The university previously planned to resume its normal operations on Feb. 4. Spring O’Rama, originally scheduled for Feb. 4, will be rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 18. We will continue to monitor the forecast and weather conditions as they develop.

Missouri S&T online graduate engineering programs in top 10 of U.S. News & World Report rankings

Missouri University of Science and Technology’s graduate online engineering programs are ranked ninth in the nation and seventh among public universities nationwide, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 Best Online Master’s in Engineering Program rankings, released today (Tuesday, Jan. 25). Additionally, these programs are ranked seventh in the nation for military veterans.

Missouri S&T hires new chief human resources officer

Cindi M. Nelson, director of human resources for the Kirkwood School District in Kirkwood, Missouri, has been named chief human resources officer at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Nelson’s appointment will begin Jan. 3.
