Orchestras to perform on Sunday afternoon

The Missouri University of Science and Technology University and Community Symphony and the Chamber Orchestras will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, in Leach Theater of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. The Missouri S&T Percussion Ensemble will also perform. The orchestra will be conducted by Dr. Robert J. Cesario, assistant professor of arts, languages and philosophy.

Estate gift helps S&T upgrade laboratories

An estate gift in the amount of $160,000 is enabling Missouri University of Science and Technology to upgrade biology, chemistry and physics laboratories on campus. The gift is from the estate of Jon T. Schneeberger, whose father, Fred C. Schneeberger, earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies from the university in 1925.
