If you haven’t checked out Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Jackling Introduction to Engineering summer camp, there’s still time. Sessions are nearing capacity, but openings are still available, especially in the June 27-July 1 session.

High school students curious about a career in engineering are invited to attend. This unique camp provides an excellent opportunity to learn first-hand what engineers actually do and get a taste of campus life.

The camp is open to students who will be high school juniors and seniors in the fall. Students have the option of staying on-campus or commuting daily to the camp. For those students who choose the residential options, the cost is $495, which includes housing, all meals, course materials and lab supplies. The commuter fee is $395, which includes lunch and dinner, course materials and lab supplies. The registration deadline is one week before the session begins.

For more information, or to register for one of the Jackling Introduction to Engineering camp sessions, go online or call Missouri S&T’s office of distance and continuing education at 573-341-6222.
