Celebrate Earth Day at S&T April 20
The 11th annual Rolla Earth Day celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, at Missouri University of Science and Technology. This free event is open to the public and will be held inside and on the lawn of the university’s Havener Center, rain or shine.

Dr. Starnes E. Walker, chief technology officer and technical director for the Fleet Cyber Command and the 10th Fleet of the U.S. Navy, will speak at Missouri University of Science and Technology as part of the university’s Distinguished Research Seminar Series next week. He will present “Navigating Cyberspace Operations: Challenges and Opportunities in a Global Domain” at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5, in Room 103 Engineering Management Building on Missouri S&T’s campus. Dr. Francisca Oboh-Ikuenobe, professor and head of the geology and geophysics program at Missouri University of Science and Technology, was selected for a Fulbright Specialists project at Alexandria University in Egypt. Her project runs from March 16-30, according to the United States Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
