Rolla Town Band to play last concert of season

The final Rolla Town Band performance this summer will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, on the Castleman Hall Green, located at 10th and State streets, on the campus of Missouri University of Science and Technology. The concert is free and open to the public.
“Besides including a selection of marches and overtures, the concert will feature our trumpet section performing Leroy Anderson’s all-time favorite Bugler’s Holiday, for trumpet trio and band,” says conductor Dr. Robert J. Cesario, assistant professor of arts, languages and philosophy at Missouri S&T. “This gives us a chance to feature our outstanding trumpet section, most of whom have been playing together in the Rolla Town Band for a number of years.”
