Annual shrimp feed scheduled for Aug. 25
The Central Ozarks Section of the Miner Alumni Association at Missouri University of Science and Technology and the Rolla Chapter of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) will hold their annual shrimp feed on Saturday, Aug. 25, at pavilion 7 of Lions Club Park on U.S. Highway 63 in Rolla. The event will begin with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at 6 p.m.

Dr. Harvest Collier, vice provost for undergraduate studies at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has announced his retirement effective Sept. 1 following 30 years of service to the university. Dr. Larry Gragg, Curators’ Teaching Professor and chair of history and political science, will serve as interim while a search is conducted for a permanent successor.
