A number of activities are planned for Homecoming Weekend at Missouri University of Science and Technology and parents and family members of Missouri S&T students are invited to them all. Homecoming Weekend will be held from Friday, Oct. 12, through Sunday, Oct. 14.

A special reception for parents and family members will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, in the Havener Center. This event will include a discussion of issues and concerns families may have and an opportunity to learn more about the many services available to students.

Other activities include a reception on Friday, and a cruise-in and tailgate party as well as the football game on Saturday. Families are encouraged to register for these events /homecoming”>here.

Parents can keep up with student activities by joining the Missouri S&T Family Connection. Family Connection members receive regular notes and updates about happenings on campus and tips on how to support student success.

Social media updates are available on Facebook and on Twitter by following @MissouriSandT or @SandTChancellor.

“Missouri S&T is continually exploring new ways to involve families in campus activities,” says Mark Potrafka, director of student services and operations in the student affairs division at S&T. “They are welcome to visit the campus at any time.”
