Diwali Night set for Nov. 6

One of India’s most important festivals, Diwali, will be celebrated at Missouri University of Science and Technology with a cultural show, fireworks and an authentic Indian dinner on Sunday, Nov. 6. Popularly known as the festival of lights, Diwali represents the triumph of good over evil. The annual event is sponsored by Missouri S&T’s India Association, an Indian student organization.

S&T choirs to perform in concert Oct. 23

Missouri University of Science and Technology choirs will give a concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at the Christ Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Main St., in Rolla. Choirs performing include the University Choir and the Chamber Choir. The concert is free and open to the public.

Student production of Laura to run Oct. 28-30
