S&T theater students lighten up with comedies

Lighten up your weekend with two comedies presented by Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Miner League Theatre Players. All performances will be held at 7 p.m. in the Blackbox Theatre in Room 143 Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla, Mo.

Art, by Yasmina Reza, will be performed Friday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 10. Directed by senior Dan Caligiuri, the R-rated play is along the lines of the popular television show, “Two and a Half Men.”

Belles, by Mark Dunn, will be performed Saturday, Dec. 3, and Friday, Dec. 9. This PG-rated comedy featuring six sisters and 45 phone calls is directed by senior Stephanie Judd.

Tickets for all performances are $5 and can be reserved by emailing smorgan@mst.edu or by stopping by the Missouri S&T performing arts office in Room 127 Castleman Hall. Seating is limited.
