Student production of Laura to run Oct. 28-30

The arts, languages and philosophy department at Missouri University of Science and Technology, along with the Miner League Theatre Players, are presenting Laura, a play by Vera Caspary and George Sklar, on Oct. 28-30, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall on campus. This performance is in cooperation with Dramatist Play Service.

S&T orchestras to perform Oct. 16

The Missouri University of Science and Technology University and Community Symphony Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, in Leach Theater of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. The orchestra will be conducted by Dr. Robert J. Cesario, assistant professor of arts, languages and philosophy.

The viewing will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, in Leach Theatre of Missouri S&T’s Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla, Mo, as part of the Leach Theatre Family Film Series.

S&T Testing Center receives certification

The Testing Center Services office at Missouri University of Science and Technology recently received Test Center Certification by the National College Testing Association (NCTA). The certification criteria are based on the NCTA professional standards and guidelines, which were developed to guide post-secondary test centers in the delivery of quality testing programs.
