The Missouri University of Science and Technology University and Community Symphony Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, in Leach Theater of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. The orchestra will be conducted by Dr. Robert J. Cesario, assistant professor of arts, languages and philosophy.

Tickets are $5 for the general public and free for S&T students and youth age 18 and younger. They can be purchased at the door prior to the performance.
The Chamber Orchestra will begin the concert with Minuet, by Franz Schubert, followed by Passacaglia for Strings, by Alexander von Kreisler, and Post Cards from Mexico, by Louis Gordon.
The University and Community Symphony Orchestra will begin their half of the concert with Divertimento, by Milton G. Davenport. The concert will conclude with a full rendition of Symphony No. 7 in A Major, by Ludwig van Beethoven.
Additional concerts this semester include the University Bands at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, and the Symphony and Chamber Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2. The Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Dave Cress, will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11.
