Missouri S&T’s mine rescue team competes against pros

Geothermal event rescheduled

Missouri University of Science and Technology has rescheduled its ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of its geothermal energy system. The event, originally scheduled for Oct. 7, will be rescheduled at a later date to be determined. Campus Sustainability Day will also be rescheduled.

S&T receives $3 million from NSF to train cybersecurity experts

Researchers at Missouri University of Science and Technology are working to combat threats to cybersecurity by training the next generation of experts in the field. With a $3 million grant from the National Science Foundation, Missouri S&T’s computer science department will fund approximately 16 “Scholarship for Service” master of science and Ph.D. students, who will specialize in cybersecurity.
