KMST to hold spring membership drive April 15-23

Public radio station KMST’s spring membership drive starts Saturday, April 15, and concludes on Sunday, April 23.

“As we welcome spring, we want to thank KMST’s community of listeners, volunteers and donors for their support,” says Joel Goodridge, marketing manager at KMST. “The broadcast excellence that informs, inspires and energizes us all is not possible without you. Our spring drive is just around the corner and we have some exciting items being given away including a Kindle Fire, Bose Wave Radio and IPads.”

KMST is offering new and renewing members a choice of premiums at the $70 level and above, including a classical music bundle, a Harmonic Vibrations CD selection titled “Joy Comes Back” by Ruthie Foster, a bluegrass CD titled “Unspoken Tradition” by Miles Between, a KMST ceramic travel coffee mug, and a KMST T-shirt. KMST to present original ‘A Christmas Carol’ performance

KMST offers incentives for early giving during fall drive

KMST-Web_Logo-Sig-Freq_Vert_webPublic radio KMST’s fall membership drive is now underway. The live portion of drive will start on Saturday, Oct. 1.

KMST staff has planned early prize drawings to help encourage new and returning members to give early in the drive.

“We have planned several nice drawings into the early portion of our fall membership drive, with everything from fine dining and theater certificates to electronic entertainment equipment,” says KMST Station Manager John Francis. “The earlier people pledge on line, the more drawings they’re included in.” [Read more…]

Missouri University of Science and Technology’s public radio station KMST honored Rolla, Missouri, real estate agent Cindy Beger as “Volunteer of the Year” during the station’s annual Membership Reunion, held April 28 at the Lions Club Den in Rolla. KMST spring membership drive to coincide with NPR
