Public radio station KMST held its annual Membership Reunion on May 4 to honor Dr. James J. Bogan Jr. and Mary Bird with the Louise Roach Member of the Year Award for their personal contributions as members of the KMST community.
Bogan, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor emeritus of art history and film, accepted the award.
“I am truly pleased and honored and surprised with the Member of the Year Award,” Bogan said. “To be recognized by such a group of dedicated servants of art and information really is gratifying.”
KMST also honored Phelps County Regional Medical Center as Business of the Year, for its noteworthy contributions to KMST, having given generously in staff or in resources.
This year’s Membership Reunion was underwritten by Phelps County Regional Medical Center. Food was supplied by Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken of Rolla. Beverages were supplied by Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. of Rolla.
