Spring enrollment at Missouri S&T up 5 percent
The official fourth-week enrollment figures at Missouri University of Science and Technology show a total enrollment of 6,825 students. This represents an enrollment increase of 5 percent over last spring’s fourth-week enrollment, says registrar Laura Stoll.

Students at Missouri University of Science and Technology will perform Godspell the next two weekends in the Blackbox Theatre of Castleman Hall. The performance is presented by the Miner League Theatre Players and Alpha Psi Omega, a new theater honor fraternity at the university.
University of Tulsa VP to lead university advancement at S&T
Joan M. Nesbitt, vice president for institutional advancement at the University of Tulsa, has been named vice chancellor for university advancement at Missouri University of Science and Technology. Missouri S&T Chancellor John F. Carney III announced the appointment today (Monday, Feb. 7, 2011).
‘Art Works in Rolla’ kicks off with Feb. 15 reception
“Art Works in Rolla-V,” an exhibition of works by regional artists, opens with a 6 p.m. reception on Tuesday, Feb. 15, in the lobby of Leach Theatre in Castleman Hall on the campus of Missouri University of Science and Technology, 10th and Main streets in Rolla, Mo. The reception was rescheduled from Feb. 1 due to inclement weather.

Rolla residents are invited to view Happy Feet, the 2007 Academy Award winner for Best Animated Feature, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, in Missouri University of Science and Technology’s Leach Theatre. The theatre is located in Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla. The film is part of the Leach Theatre Family Film Series.
