Spring enrollment at Missouri S&T up 5 percent

The official fourth-week enrollment figures at Missouri University of Science and Technology show a total enrollment of 6,825 students. This represents an enrollment increase of 5 percent over last spring’s fourth-week enrollment, says registrar Laura Stoll.
The spring semester at Missouri S&T began Monday, Jan. 10.
The spring 2011 enrollment census – officially recorded at the end of the semester’s fourth week – is up 329 students from the official spring 2010 figure.
This is the 10th consecutive year of growth for Missouri S&T’s spring semester enrollment. In 2001, spring enrollment was 4,385 students. This year’s numbers show a total enrollment increase of 55.6 percent since 2001.
