The Missouri University of Science and Technology Campus Performing Arts Series continues with William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream performed by Aquila Theatre Company at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28. The show will be in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall on the Missouri S&T campus, 10th and Main streets in Rolla.
KMST kicks off spring drive Feb. 26
Public radio station KMST at Missouri University of Science and Technology will hold its Spring Membership Drive Feb. 26 through March 6. The drive’s goal is $70,000. The station is responsible for raising more than 30 percent of its operating funds.

Tracy Kidder, author of Mountains Beyond Mountains: The Quest of Dr. Paul Farmer, A Man Who Would Cure the World, will speak at Missouri University of Science and Technology at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall, 10th and Main streets in Rolla, Mo. The lecture is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Miner swimmers capture fifth straight NSISC championship
CLEVELAND, Miss. – For the fifth straight season, Missouri S&T captured the New South Intercollegiate Swimming Championships title on Saturday (Feb. 12, 2011), clinching the championship with a dominant showing at the top of three events on the final night of competition.

Recruiters representing approximately 155 employers are anticipated for the spring career fair Feb. 15 at Missouri University of Science and Technology. The number of prospective employers attending is 20 percent higher than last year.
