S&T’s Concrete Canoe and Steel Bridge teams prepare for competition

Two teams of students from Missouri S&T will test the principles of construction and engineering at the 2019 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)/American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) Mid-Continent Student Conference – one by hand-constructing a scale-model bridge and the other by racing a 250-pound concrete canoe.

Passing of Don Brackhahn

Donald G. Brackhahn, former executive director of the Miner Alumni Association, died Monday, April 1. He joined the S&T staff in 1985 and retired 2002. Brackhahn and his wife, Nancy, have been longtime supporters of S&T, the alumni association and Miner athletics.
