Dr. Christi Patton Luks, teaching professor of chemical and biochemical engineering at Missouri S&T, has been elected as a fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) in recognition of her contributions to the chemical engineering field. A fellowship is the highest grade of membership in AIChE.

Missouri S&T receives additional NSF grant to train cybersecurity experts

Researchers at Missouri S&T will continue to combat cybersecurity threats by training the next generation of experts in the field with a $225,000 grant from the National Science Foundation. Missouri S&T’s first virtual camp to finish with satellite launches

Missouri S&T’s first virtual summer camp will conclude with a launch event to watch more than a dozen camper-built small satellites travel 100,000 feet into the air on-board a high-altitude balloon. Campers will track the flight in August and receive images and data captured by the satellites from the edge of space.
