Phillip Phillips, the 2012 winner of television’s “American Idol” singing competition, is scheduled to perform a concert at Missouri University of Science and Technology on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013.
Preservation Hall Jazz Band to bring ‘Creole Christmas’ Dec. 7
The Preservation Hall Jazz Band will bring its “Creole Christmas” performance to Missouri University of Science and Technology as part of its Campus Performing Arts Series. Serenity, a composition written in honor of the late daughter of Dr. Robert J. Cesario, band conductor at Missouri University of Science and Technology, will debut at a Nov. 30 concert on the campus. Anna Cesario died from ovarian cancer in 2009, after more than five years battling the disease.
