Fourteen engineering management professionals were honored by the University of Missouri-Rolla when they were inducted into UMR’s newly formed Academy of Engineering Management Thursday, April 14. One person was elected as an honorary member.

Ten chemical engineers with ties to the University of Missouri-Rolla were inducted into the UMR Academy of Chemical Engineers during the academy’s induction ceremony April 21 at the Havener Center on campus. One member was inducted posthumously.

Schlumberger Information Solutions (SIS) has contributed oil, gas and other energy-related simulation software, valued at $11.8 million, to the petroleum engineering program at the University of Missouri-Rolla.
