Area dancers will have a unique opportunity to learn from Broadway veteran Deidre Goodwin this summer. The performer will teach “Broadway and Beyond: Master Classes in Dance and Musical Theatre” at Missouri University of Science and Technology on Thursday, June 24. Twenty-one students from Missouri University of Science and Technology will bring sustainable, clean water to portions of rural Bolivia this summer. Their goal goes beyond quenching thirsts; for these students, it’s about saving lives. In Bolivia, a lack of clean water contributes to the death of every tenth child before the age of 5.
Openings remain in two three-day Robotics Camps at Missouri University of Science and Technology. The camps will be held June 10-12 and June 14-16. Students must be age 11 to 15 by the first day of the camp session they are attending.
