Dr. John F. Carney III, chancellor of Missouri University of Science and Technology, announced today (Jan. 26, 2011) that he will step down from the position on Aug. 31.
‘Pollution’ may be key ingredient in concrete mixtures, says S&T researcher
A researcher at Missouri University of Science and Technology is leading a study to increase the amount of fly ash used in concrete. If successful, the effort could divert millions of tons of the waste product away from ponds and landfills and reduce CO2 emissions.
Annual Blasters Training Seminar scheduled for March
Missouri University of Science and Technology will host its annual Blasters Training Seminar March 14-16 at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, Mo. The course fulfills the training requirement for the Missouri state blaster’s license.
