A Missouri University of Science and Technology professor is leading a new effort to bring academic leaders in environmental engineering together on an annual basis to improve education in universities nationwide.
The next Rolla Town Band performance will feature Michael O’Brien of Waynesville, Mo., the band’s new piccolo player. O’Brien will solo on Robert Starer’s Fantasy on When Johnny Comes Marching Home, which was written for the bicentennial of the West Point Band. The concert will also include a selection of marches and overtures.
