The Missouri S&T University and Community Symphony Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra will perform their final concert of the semester at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 3, in Leach Theater of Castleman Hall. The orchestra will be conducted by Dr. Robert J. Cesario, assistant professor of arts, languages and philosophy.
Friday, May 1, will be the final opportunity this spring for the public to view Saturn and the moon during Visitors’ Night at Missouri S&T’s Astronomical Observatory. Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and is the second largest in the solar system. Its ring system makes the planet one of the most beautiful objects in the solar system.
The work of Dr. James Bogan is featured in the April issue of New Letters, a literary magazine that is currently celebrating its 75th year of existence. Bogan is a Curators’ Professor of art history and film at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
