’50 Years of Bogantics’ opens at Leach Theatre
The Campus Art Committee at Missouri University of Science and Technology will host a reception on Feb. 9 for Leach Theatre’s spring art show. The show features pieces by Dr. James J. Bogan Jr., Curators’ Teaching Professor emeritus of art history and film at Missouri S&T, and includes selections from Bogan’s books, poster-art, photography and artifacts from the classroom.

Dr. Audra Merfeld-Langston, associate professor of French at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has been named interim chair of the department of arts, languages, and philosophy. She will serve as interim chair starting Jan. 1, 2016, and a search will take place during the 2016-17 school year for a permanent department chair.

Dr. Suzanna Long, interim chair and associate professor of engineering management and systems engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, has been named an American Society of Engineering Management Fellow, the society’s highest honor.
Candidates must have a minimum of eight years of continuous membership in ASEM with significant achievement in the field of engineering management in addition to distinguished service and contributions to the society.
