Worsey to direct annual blasters seminar in March

Dr. Paul Worsey, professor of mining engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology, will direct the university’s Annual Blasters Training Seminar. The course fulfills the training requirement for the Missouri State Blaster’s license and will be held March 8-10, at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, Mo.

Enrollment up nearly nine percent this spring

Enrollment for the first day of classes at Missouri S&T is 6,182, an 8.9 percent increase from last year’s first day of enrollment, says Laura Stoll, Missouri S&T registrar. This is the eighth consecutive year of enrollment increases.

Leach Theatre to host interactive Beatles tribute concert

Chinese university joins S&T in transfer program

Representatives from Missouri S&T and China University of Petroleum (CUP) met recently to sign a transfer agreement between the two universities. The agreement will allow CUP students to transfer to S&T after their first two years of study in geology and geophysics.
