Enrollment up nearly nine percent this spring

Enrollment for the first day of classes at Missouri S&T is 6,182, an 8.9 percent increase from last year’s first day of enrollment, says Laura Stoll, Missouri S&T registrar. This is the eighth consecutive year of enrollment increases.
The spring semester at S&T began on Monday, Jan. 11. Last spring, 5,676 students were enrolled on the first day of the spring semester. This year’s 8.9 percent increase represents a total of 506 additional students.
The university will continue to enroll students through the first weeks of the spring semester. More than 100 students are expected to enroll during the first weeks of the semester. Financial assistance is still available.
The official enrollment figures for the semester will be released after the fourth week of classes.
