This year’s rankings from U.S. News & World Report for the best universities for pursuing a graduate degree in engineering were released today (Tuesday, June 18), and Missouri S&T has again been listed as one of the nation’s top institutions — and the top public university in Missouri.
“Missouri S&T’s engineering programs remain focused on improving the world and solving societal challenges through our research and innovation,” says Dr. David Borrok, vice provost and dean of S&T’s College of Engineering and Computing. “Our strengths in these areas are reflected in our graduate rankings and in the notoriety of our world-class faculty members.”
The university ranks 53rd nationally among public universities for graduate engineering programs and 83rd when considering both public and private institutions.

Missouri S&T has the top ranking among public institutions in the state in each of these programs.

Good news, given the known strength S&T has for our undergraduate programs.
I would think we could add that the value increases given the very reasonable tuition costs and the superb department faculty advisors in some very important and specialized area of research.
