Missouri S&T’s sponsored area will open each day at 9 a.m. and feature daily demonstrations at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Demonstrations include fire art, Spot the Robodog, illusions and make-your-own-earthquake. Fair goers can participate in activities throughout the day, such as a planetarium, virtual reality, yard games, 3D printing and robots. Visitors can also enter to win prizes.

“What better way to bring STEM outreach to Missourians than at the state fair?” says Courtney Jones, director of the Kummer Center for STEM Education. “We’ll have something for people of all ages. Drop by to say hi and have some fun while learning. Missouri S&T is the state’s premier technological research university and we’re looking forward to showcasing what we offer.”
