Missouri S&T Concrete Conference to be held May 1-2

Missouri S&T will host the annual Missouri Concrete Conference May 1-2 in the Havener Center on campus. Conference registration is $150 per person.

Conference topics include evaporation retarders, mixture incompatibilities, Eastern Missouri Pavement Consortium, mix monitoring during delivery using “VERIFI,” aggregate proportioning techniques, sawed joint failures, Poplar Street Bridge, pumping, troubleshooting case histories, hydrodemolition and bridge deck rehab, deicers and protection of concrete, partial depth patching, new concrete pavement distress manual, correlation compressive and flexural strength, quality placement, new FAA concrete paving specifications, and evolution of concrete bridge decks.

Certificates to document personal development hours will be provided.

Organizers say the conference will be of interest to contractors, public agencies, consulting engineers, testing labs, aggregate producers, ready mix, cement and admixture suppliers, and equipment technical reps.
