Missouri S&T student engineers design steel bridge
A team of students from Missouri S&T will test the principles of bridge building by constructing a scale-model steel bridge as part of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Mid-Continent Student Conference. The conference will be held Thursday, April 24, through Saturday, April 26, at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Okla.

The Missouri University of Science and Technology Chamber and University choirs, directed by Lorie Francis, a lecturer in arts, languages and philosophy, will be joined by the Rolla Choral Arts Society, the Rolla High School choirs and the 399th Army Band from Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., for two free performances of “Carmina Burana” on April 26 and 27.
