Missouri S&T MBA program approved for STEM designation

Missouri S&T’s master of business administration (MBA) program has been approved for STEM designation. It will go into effect next fall, making the program better aligned with the mission of Kummer College of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development to be technology focused while benefiting students.

Dr. Richard K. Brow, a Curators’ Distinguished Professor of materials science and engineering at Missouri S&T, has been elected to the National Academy of Inventors (NAI) 2024 class of Fellows.

When every second feels like an eternity: S&T student develops model to support 911 centers

“When people call 911, they are usually in a perilous situation — often between life and death — and need help quickly,” says Ademola Adesokan, a Ph.D. student in computer science. “But depending on the quantity of calls coming in at once and the amount of time spent on each call at the 911 center, they may have a delayed response during a time in which every second or minute can seem like an eternity.”
