Saudi Arabia students affected by Crowdstrike outage still able to enjoy summer camps

Missouri S&T holds a wide variety of STEM-related summer camps that bring in students from around the nation, and even all around the world. In July, a group of four high school students from Saudi Arabia had a difficult journey getting to the Missouri S&T campus to attend the Exploring Materials in Your World Camp. While they were forced to miss most of the actual camp, S&T employees ensured the international students still had a fun and educational time while at Missouri S&T.

Roll out the red carpet: Missouri S&T’s Movie Makers camp to host celebration June 24

Movie Makers, an evening camp offered by the Kummer Center for STEM Education at Missouri University of Science and Technology, will host a red-carpet themed celebration of films made by participants at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 24 in Room 140 Toomey Hall at S&T.

Missouri S&T returns to in-person summer camps for students in grades 2-12

After two years of virtual and hybrid youth camps, Missouri S&T’s in-person summer camps are back. From June 5-July 28, students in grades 2-12 will be able to immerse themselves in STEM-related subjects ranging from physics, computing and robotics to aerospace and explosives.
