Missouri S&T selected for ‘Americans and the Holocaust’ traveling exhibition

The Curtis Laws Wilson Library at Missouri S&T is one of 50 U.S. libraries selected to host Americans and the Holocaust, a traveling exhibition from the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum that examines the motives, pressures and fears that shaped Americans’ responses to Nazism, war and genocide in Europe during the 1930s and 1940s.

S&T historian’s latest book focuses on Jewish post-Holocaust reconstruction in France

After World War II, French Holocaust survivors returned to their homes in Paris to find them stripped of personal belongings and occupied by new inhabitants. Attempts to reclaim those belongings were key in efforts to rebuild Jewish political and social inclusion after the war, says Dr. Shannon Fogg, chair and professor of history and political science at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
