S&T Iranian Student Association to host Yalda Night celebration

The Iranian Student Association at Missouri S&T will host a Yalda Night celebration on Thursday, Dec. 21, in St. Pat’s Ballroom B in the Havener Center. The event will feature a variety of traditional Persian dishes, and readings of Persian poetry.

Missouri S&T students pitch their startup concepts for cash prizes

Glassiderm, a treatment for acne scars developed by three Missouri University of Science and Technology students, won the $5,000 first-place prize in the university’s second annual Startup Challenge on Nov. 13. S&T developed the challenge to give all students the chance to experience presenting a business model to a panel of judges with entrepreneurial experience.
