Missouri S&T crowns 2016 Homecoming royalty

Abigail Dare, a senior in nuclear engineering from Puxico, Missouri, was named Missouri S&T’s 2016 Homecoming Queen during halftime of the Oct. 15 football game between Missouri S&T and Lincoln University. Dare was nominated by Pi Kappa Alpha. Scott Schroer, a graduate student in computer science from Iowa City, Iowa, was named Missouri S&T’s 2016 Homecoming King. He was nominated by Pi Kappa Alpha.

Fall enrollment at Missouri S&T tops 8,800

The fall 2016 enrollment at Missouri University of Science and Technology, officially recorded at the end of the semester’s fourth week, is 8,838. This is 0.6 percent below the previous record fall enrollment of 8,889, which was set in 2015, says Deanne Jackson, Missouri S&T registrar.
