Twelve faculty members at Missouri S&T received promotions and/or tenure, effective Tuesday, Sept. 1. Those faculty members are:
- Dr. Laura Bartlett, promoted to professor of materials science and engineering
- Tracie Devault, promoted to associate teaching professor of English and technical communication
- Dr. Kristen Donnell, promoted to professor of electrical and computer engineering
- Dr. Mina Esmaeelpour, promoted to associate professor of electrical and computer engineering and granted tenure
- Dr. Chulsoon Hwang, promoted to professor of electrical and computer engineering
- Dr. Catherine Johnson, promoted to professor of mining and explosives engineering
- Dr. Aditya Kumar, promoted to professor of materials science and engineering
- Georgette Nicolosi, promoted to librarian II
- Dr. Ting Shen, promoted to associate professor of psychological science and granted tenure
- Dr. Jeremy Watts, promoted to research professor of materials science
- Roger Weaver, promoted to librarian IV
- Dr. Klaus Woelk, promoted to professor of chemistry.
