Twelve faculty members at Missouri S&T received promotions and/or tenure, effective Tuesday, Sept. 1. Those faculty members are:

• Dr. Laura Bartlett, promoted to professor of materials science and engineering
• Tracie Devault, promoted to associate teaching professor of English and technical communication
• Dr. Kristen Donnell, promoted to professor of electrical and computer engineering
• Dr. Mina Esmaeelpour, promoted to associate professor of electrical and computer engineering and granted tenure
• Dr. Chulsoon Hwang, promoted to professor of electrical and computer engineering
• Dr. Catherine Johnson, promoted to professor of mining and explosives engineering
• Dr. Aditya Kumar, promoted to professor of materials science and engineering
• Georgette Nicolosi, promoted to librarian II
• Dr. Ting Shen, promoted to associate professor of psychological science and granted tenure
• Dr. Jeremy Watts, promoted to research professor of materials science
• Roger Weaver, promoted to librarian IV
• Dr. Klaus Woelk, promoted to professor of chemistry.
